Custom Sheaths
Many artists make knives without sheaths as display items, some artists make very functional sheaths for knives meant to be used in the field as well as for art, and some make sheaths for display only. Check out a variety of these below, and email us if you'd like one of our artists to make you a custom sheath for your knife! The knives below include sheaths by Jay Fisher, Silva Leather Works, JL Gill, Madigan Knives, and many others. Our artists make sheaths and holsters for knives, swords, axes, short swords, tools, guns and any other tool or weapon. The examples below include inlays of lizard, rattlesnake, shark, manta ray, python, etc. Sheaths can be simple or complex, expensive or very reasonable, and all are custom fit to each knife. All artists are independent contractors in the US. Noteworthy this week: Check out the JL Gill Burl Maple red/pink "lizard" knife at the very bottom. This huge custom sub-hilt fighter has a unique custom "lizard" scabbard with a lizard "tongue" for the restraining strap, and a unique grommet to hold the second hilt, distributed by Madigan Knives. The handle has a one of a kind natural "galaxy" pattern that is just stunning. All JL's knives are rugged and fully stabilized, and as home in the field as in your display case or collection.
